Donald V. Brock, age 60, of Briarknoll Court, Saukville, WI died Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at St. Luke’s Aurora Medical Center in Milwaukee due to complications of heart attack.
He was born on October 24, 1954 in Port Washington, son of Victor and Carolyn West Brock. He grew up on Jay Road in the Town of Belgium, graduating from Cedar Grove High School in 1972.
On April 5, 1975, Don married Alice Klumb of Port Washington at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Port Washington. Briefly living in Port Washington, Don and Alice moved to Saukville in 1977; later to their current home since 1991.
For over 30 years, Don was a loyal and dedicated electronic technician for Applied Control Concepts of Milwaukee. He had been a member of the Village of Saukville Planning Commission since 1992.
Don enjoyed working on his projects; construction and remodeling, helping out his boys. He could fix almost anything, taking pride in quality, not the time involved. He enjoyed his family travels to Texas and bike rides with his wife. Always and forever a Green Bay Packer Fan.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Alice; his sons David (fiancé Vy) Brock of Tomball, TX; Adam (Anne) Brock of Wichita Falls, TX and Mark (Layla) Brock of Saukville; his grandson August Brock; his sister Margie (Larry) McCutcheon of Oconomowoc; two brothers Jim Brock of Friendship and Tim (JoAnn) Brock of Sheboygan; sister-in-law Shirley (Bruce) Kozelou of Lyons, WI; brothers-in-law Eddie (Betty) Klumb and Steve (Judy) Klumb, both of Port Washington, Dan (Lorie) Klumb of Oostburg and Don (Kate) Klumb of Leawood, KS; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services 6:30PM Monday, August 10, 2015 at the POOLE FUNERAL HOME/Crematory, 203 N. Wisconsin Street, Port Washington, WI. Pastor Brian Damrow of St Peter United Church of Christ, Saukville will preside. Visitation 3:30-6:30PM Monday prior to service at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Saukville.
