Julia Bormann, 98, of Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Port Washington died Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital – Ozaukee Campus in Milwaukee.

She was born in Sheboygan Falls on January 7, 1908 to John and Theresa Nagele.  In her youth the family moved to the Upper Peninsula and she moved to Milwaukee in her early 20’s.  She met Robert Bormann of Milwaukee and they were married February 13, 1937 in Milwaukee.  She was a housekeeper and worked and Harley Davidson in Milwaukee and then was a drugstore clerk.   She lived in Butler, Wisconsin for many years until moving to Heritage in 1997.  She enjoyed playing cards, especially 500, and took up bowling after she retired.  Her husband preceded her in death May 8, 1973 and two daughters Joyce Barnhart and Gloria Regner precede her.

Julia is survived by her son Russel (Mary Stehling) Bormann of Kewauskum, Wisconsin, Grandchildren Scott (Jo) Barnhart and Chris (Kim) Barnhart and great grandchildren Nick and Corey Barnhart.  Further survived by other relatives and friends.  Preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, sisters Mary Balch, Freida Aman, Martha Rogers and Rose Koller and a brother, Henry Eiserle.

Rev. Roger Boesch will officiate funeral services 2:30 pm Friday, December 1, 2006 at Wisconsin Memorial Park Chapel of The Flowers in Brookfield, Wisconsin.  Interment to follow.  Visitation 1:30 – 2:30 PM  Friday in the Chapel of the Flowers at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
