Janet Boerner, 91, formerly of E Walters Street, died Saturday, October 11, 2005 at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital – Ozaukee Campus in Mequon.

She was born July 31, 1914 in Port Washington to Jack and Flora Krick Mootz.  She married Herbert “Spencer” Boerner of Denver, Colorodo on November 25, 1927 at St. Robert’s Catholic Church in Shorewood, Wisconsin.  Together they lived on E Walters street for over 60 years.  Most recently she was living at the Harbor Club in Port Washington.  Janet was a very social person and liked chatting.  She will be remembered as a very nice lady, always cordial and pleasant.  She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading.

She is survived by son James Boerner of Milwaukee, other relatives and friends.  Fr. Pat Wendt will celebrate a Memorial Funeral Mass at 10 AM Saturday, October 15, 2005 at St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church, 1800 N Wisconsin Street, Port Washington.    Family will recieve friends from 9 – 10 am  Saturday at the church.  Masses or memorials to Port Catholic School appreciated.
